Government contracting · Start ready. Pursue informed.

From business setup
to your next federal pursuit.

Scope the help your company needs: entity readiness, registration, certification research, opportunity discovery, historical award intelligence, and proposal preparation.

Build the foundation

Organize your entity records, registrations, service classifications, and capability statement around what your company actually delivers.

Learn what buyers buy

Review two years of federal contract activity across general construction, MEP, engineering, and IT. Use comparable records to inform pursuit decisions.

Pursue with context

Define source-backed opportunity briefs with buyer history, relevant past awards, set-aside requirements, deadlines, and bid-readiness gaps.

Federal award research snapshot

What has the government been buying?

Loading the dated USAspending research snapshot…

Federal prime-contract data only. Historical amounts do not establish the budget for a new solicitation. State/local awards and subcontract activity require additional sources.

Download the research data
How historical amounts will be used in opportunity briefs

For each government pursuit, scope a comparison using the relevant NAICS/PSC, agency, location, scope, and award date. Show the source award, recipient, amount basis, and differences from the new opportunity. Broad category totals and the largest-award examples below are market context, not automatically comparable bids.

If no defensible comparable is found, mark the benchmark unavailable rather than invent an estimated award amount. Cross-source links need validated award and agency identifiers; a similar title alone is not a confirmed match.

Become a government contractor

A readiness path for your company.

Already registered? Focus on the gaps. Starting out? Begin with business and federal registration basics.

Where are you starting?

Your checklist will cover entity records, registration, classifications, capability materials, and requirements to review before a bid.

Business structure, tax status, and certification are different

A sole proprietorship, partnership, LLC, or corporation describes how the business is organized. An S corporation election concerns tax treatment. SAM registration and SBA certifications are separate processes. A company should use the structure and designations that fit its facts, not attempt to claim every type.

BidForge can help organize questions and documents. State formation and tax choices should be reviewed with an attorney or qualified tax adviser. SBA business-structure guide

What tailored government-contracting support can include

Entity-record preparation; SAM/UEI and CAGE or NCAGE coordination as applicable; NAICS/PSC research; certification application preparation; capability statements and past-performance summaries; buyer targeting; solicitation compliance matrices; and proposal schedules. Review licensing, bonding, insurance, wage, cybersecurity, and other requirements against the specific solicitation.

SAM.gov registration is free. Optional BidForge preparation or workflow services are quoted separately. Register directly or seek free registration help through APEX.

Data sources and connection status

Your systems. A connected plan.

AI that follows the work
across your software.

Design a company-specific scheduling or project-management agent around the tools you already own. Start with one useful connection and expand to the workflows that matter most.

Schedule with context

Scope AI-assisted look-aheads, constraint reviews, and schedule narratives tied to actual project records.

Manage by exception

Bring the owner’s priorities into proposed action lists across procurement, field work, quality, and turnover.

Keep people in control

Design source-linked recommendations, named reviewers, and a record of approved changes to the systems of record.

Plan your connections

Select the software your company uses

This planner creates a scoping outline in your browser. It does not connect accounts, access project data, or run an AI model.

CUSTOM IMPLEMENTATION

Start with your stack and your biggest bottleneck.

Select your systems to see the connection assessments, data requirements, first phase, and success measure to discuss.

Example: trace a late equipment package through turnover

Proposed workflow: link a supplier’s revised delivery date to an equipment tag, its installation activity, model reference, test prerequisites, and owner milestone. Prepare an impact brief with source records and recovery options for review.

The scheduler validates dates and logic; the project team approves any updates. This is an implementation example, not a live simulation or a connected feature on this site.

Integration candidates, not prebuilt BidForge connectors. Compatibility is confirmed per product, edition, license, data scope, and customer authorization. Build and operating costs are quoted for your company. Product names identify customer systems; no vendor partnership is implied.

One lifecycle. A starting point for every team.

From the first signal
to the final handoff.

Explore the workflow you want to improve. Every engagement is tailored to your company; deliverables, implementation, and pricing are agreed individually.

Deliverables to define

    Where AI can help

What moves to the next team

The explorer describes workflow options, not a live project-management workspace. Scope, data access, integrations, and acceptance criteria are agreed before implementation.

    Mission critical + modular delivery

    Follow the package.
    Not just the project name.

From early data-center intelligence to factory-built assemblies and system turnover, scope the workflow around the package your company can deliver.

    Find package opportunities

Target data centers, airports, power, industrial, and infrastructure programs. Define pursuits for modular electrical rooms, equipment skids, prefab MEP, and other specialty packages.

    Connect factory and field

Scope tracking for design interfaces, OFCI/CFCI responsibilities, factory testing, transport, receiving, storage conditions, and installation readiness.

    Build toward acceptance

Define room and system readiness, project-specific commissioning stages, test evidence, open issues, and owner turnover requirements.

Project-specific commissioning and energy-control procedures remain subject to the owner’s requirements and authorized personnel.

    Commercial FAQ

    Clear terms before commitment.

Is BidForge software or a managed service?

We can scope an AI agent, a focused program, or a managed workflow around your company. Discovery determines which approach fits your goals, systems, people, and budget.

What makes the custom agent specific to our company?

Its instructions, workflows, knowledge sources, templates, approval gates, user roles, and outputs are configured around your organization. Scope and access are established during discovery and validation.

Does AI make the final estimating decision?

No. BidForge accelerates research, document analysis, estimate structure, and workflow steps. Qualified people retain authority for quantities, pricing, commercial risk, and bid submission.

    How is our price determined?

We agree a company-specific scope and written quote. Build costs, ongoing support, software subscriptions, and usage costs are explained separately where applicable. There is no standard award-percentage fee or mandatory published monthly tier.

Can you work with our existing tools?

Yes, when included in scope. The custom-agent discovery process identifies required systems, supported integration methods, data permissions, and the safest deployment path.

Can we pay per lead or estimate instead of subscribing?

Yes. Choose individual leads, a project-specific estimate, or an ongoing subscription for leads, estimating support, or both. We agree on price, quantities, scope, revision or replacement terms, and any subscription renewal and cancellation terms before paid work begins. Custom company AI agents are scoped separately.

    BUYER PRIORITIES

What the market is asking technology to deliver

Current industry research and competitive positioning converge on five high-value outcomes. These now drive the BidForge product architecture and sales message.

    01

    Earlier qualified opportunities

Visibility into projects, buyers, relationships, stage, value, and next action—without hours of manual hunting.

    02

    More estimating capacity

Faster takeoffs, standardized estimate structure, and senior review focused on judgment instead of repetitive setup.

    03

    Cost and margin confidence

Clear assumptions, exclusions, escalation, labor, risk, and approval gates before the number leaves the building.

    04

    Connected information

One path from opportunity and drawings through bid review, proposal, award, and operations handoff.

    05

    Company-specific automation

AI that works within existing processes, terminology, templates, and accountability—not another isolated generic tool.

    06

    Human-governed decisions

Automation for speed with estimators and executives retaining authority over price, risk, and commitment.
